Celebrate the Seasons – Midsummer

Celebrate the Seasons – with Donna Forbes
Tuesday 19th June
Alban Hefin – Light of Summer – This seasonal celebration is one of joy and power and renewal. There is so much energy is all around us that it is so easy to tap into it. The sun is filling us with all the vitality we need, our food is swelling and capturing the goodness of the summer. The Solstice is often celebrated by watching the sunrise. Midsummer, a few days later, is celebrated at the point where the days begin to shorten.
In this workshop, we will talk about the season and what it means to us and reflect on what it would have meant to our ancestors. Then we will ‘tune in’ to the season using guided meditation and visualisation.
These seasonal workshops will help you tap into the energy of the yearly cycle and give strength to your goals for the year.
Run by: Donna Forbes (Harrier) and Gordon Austin (White Raven)

Celtic Shamanism – The Cosmic Web

Tuesday 10th April 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm £15

We are familiar with the idea of being connected to everyone we know – and many we don’t – from anywhere on the globe. All you need is a PC and a connection to a satellite. But this is not a new phenomenon! In fact, the internet is quite limited compared with the web our ancestors used: The Cosmic Web. Our forebears of these islands, the Celts, were well aware of this spiritual connection.

Working in the spiritual plane, we can see the connection between all things: we are all on the web; we are part of it and, what’s more, what we do and how we live affects the whole web. The workshop will include meditation and journeying. It is suitable for those who are new to or curious about shamanism and those who have attended previous workshops.

The Law of Attraction
Have you noticed how some people seem to have more ‘luck’ than others? Do you know people who know what they want, and it always seems to work out? Have you ever found yourself thinking about something or someone and suddenly an opportunity arises unexpectedly, or you hear from that person out of the blue? This is the Law of Attraction at work. That ‘what we focus on grows (in the words of the Barefoot Doctor), and ‘thoughts becomes things’. This is nothing new, it has been practised for centuries and written about in ancient texts. Come along for this evening of discovery and discussion to find out how to put this into practice in your own life and create a future of your own making.
